Mould exists everywhere in the natural environment. We encounter it everyday and our bodies have evolved to deal with mould and for the most part mould isn't an issue.
Mould can I do it myself
The short answer is Yes!
There is nothing difficult about what a mould remediator does. For the most part we just clean, clean and clean some more. (More often than not, that cleaning also involves the removal of building materials)
The aim of mould remediation is to remove the mould. We are not interested in killing mould.

Cleaning mould takes time, attention to detail, the right knowledge and the right equipment. There are no shortcuts, no easy fixes and no magic solutions.
Once mould infiltrates a property, it can be very difficult to eradicate and it may effect the health of the buildings occupants and users.
When we attend to a mould related project we typically do the following;
- Detailed visual assessment, including the use of infra red cameras
- Attempt to determine the source of water or moisture
- Take mycometer air and surface samples to determine the extent of the damage
- If Required take air and surface samples for lab analysis
- Where there may be complicating factors or the extent of the damage is very large, we will recommend that an independent 3rd Party be engaged (An IEP)
- If Required our Registered Nurse will undertake an Health Analysis of at risk occupants.
- Install containment to isolate the mould from the rest of the property..
- Install Air Filtration Devices to protect the occupants.
- Develop an Action Plan to Eradicate the mould.
If the client is satisfied with the action plan and our quote our expert technicians will then undertake works as per our agreed action plan.
