With the mycometer we can sample air and surfaces to obtain rapid results on the mould or bacterial load in a property.

The technology and the process have been verified by the US EPA  and the system and machine are now used extensively by many government departments around the world.

How does the Mycometer add to a project?

Being able to rapidly test an environment we can make timely restoration decisions that will effect the completion time on a project and how that project should be handled to prevent complications further down the track.

Decisions we can make include;

• Identification of Cat 3 water damage for storm water damage via a roof. -   
• Rapid identification means we’re treating the project correctly from the start without guessing.  
• There is a substantial difference in the losses incurred on a Cat 2 project versus a cat 3 project.
• Identify whether contents items have been damaged by Cat 3 water or Mould. -  
• Write off only the items that are non salvageable
